Service Type – Fluid Change

Wake boats put higher demands on engines, transmissions, & V-drives that create heat & wear. Oil, ATF, & V-drive oil protect the moving parts of your drive train, extending the life of your boat and getting you more time on the water.

Fluid Change Service includes:

  • – Warn up engine
  • – Remove old engine oil and filter
  • – Add new oil and filter
  • – Run engine, check oil level, & adjust if needed
  • – Remove transmission fluid (ATF)
  • – Add new ATF and run motor to circulate ATF
  • – Check V-drive oil level and advise if it needs change, or top off as needed
  • – Inspect and adjust fluids.

Always follow your manufacturer’s oil change recommendations for your boat (Tigé recommended oil changes after the first 10 hours and then every 50 hours). HLWS recommends doing an annual fluid change with your winterization.

Other services to consider when you get your oil changed:

  • – Prop refurbish (as needed based on condition of the prop)
  • – Impeller replacement (annually or every 50 hours)
