Service Type – Winterization

We recommend annual winterization on all boats. Winterization protects your boat from freeze damage of the motor, V-drive, heater core, shower, trans-cooler, and exhaust manifolds. We also add fuel conditioner and then we run the engine to circulate fuel conditioner through the fuel system. Even if your boat is stored indoors, there can still be instances where a loss of power or other unforeseen situations can arise that can cause very expensive repairs that your insurance may not cover.

Boat Services performed:

  • – Run engine in shop on engine flusher, to circulate the fuel conditioner throughout the entire fuel system.
  • – Remove drain plugs in the bilge center drain, motor, V-drive, exhaust manifold, and heat exchanger where needed.
  • – Remove hoses (Heater, shower, trans-cooler, water pump, etc) where needed.
  • – After draining the engine, we clean the fresh water engine strainer filter.
  • – Ensure ballast is empty.
  • – Winter seal engine as needed to prohibit corrosion
