Every winterization includes care for your boat and trailer.
Boat winterization
- Circulate fuel conditioner through the fuel system
- Remove drain plugs in bilge, motor, V-drive, exhaust manifold, and heat exchanger as needed.
- Drain applicable hoses and onboard systems
- Clean the engine’s fresh-water strainer
- Confirm ballast is empty
- Winter-seal engine as needed to reduce corrosion
- Disconnect batteries
- Test antifreeze concentration
- Top off antifreeze
Trailer inspection
- Torque lug nuts
- Check tire pressure
- Top off brake fluid
- Inspect trailer lights
